Complete Sándor Ferenczi’s oeuvre together!
| Dear Friend, a group of dedicated researchers is nearing the end of a long project by completing the sixth volume of the Sándor Ferenczi Collected Works.This missing volume will finally bring Ferenczi’s seven-volume oeuvre to publication.  The previous publisher withdrew from releasing the final book, leaving us without the financial resources needed to complete this substantial work.Between 2022 and 2025, thanks to the committed and unfunded work of the editors and chief editors, six books (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 7) were completed, comprising 2,652 pages. Only the 6th is missing, which will be 300–350 pages. Titled “New Horizons in Psychoanalysis” (1928–1933), this book contains Ferenczi’s later and best-known writings. These works continue to exert influence to this day. Once the series is complete, this monumental body of work will be accessible to professionals, researchers, students, and interested readers, and it can also serve as a source and model for the publication of Ferenczi’s works in other languages. For the first time, Ferenczi’s complete works are being published in Hungarian. This critical edition, which also incorporates recent research, has already attracted international attention: the first book was published in Portuguese by the Brazilian publisher INM Editora in 2024. Together, we can complete Ferenczi’s ouvreWe hope that the missing book can be realised through community funding, with a total cost of 3 million forints (around 9000 USD). We would like to raise two-thirds of this sum from private individuals and one-third from corporate sponsorship.
