The International Ferenczi Conference series was first launched by our Society, in 1993. This conference takes places every 2-3 years, in different locations, highlighting not only the life and works of Hungarian psychiatrist and psychoanalyst Sandor Ferenczi, but also focusing on the impact of psychoanalysis and interdisciplinary fields in our ever changing world and its social challenges. These conferences have attracted audiences in the hundreds, and now include small, “studio conference” groups as well.
